  Procera®

Procera™ by Nobel Biocare, is an innovative computer assisted design and manufacturing system. It is composed of a densely sintered high purity aluminum oxide coping that is combined with all-ceramic porcelain.

Studies indicate that Procera crowns are stronger that most all-ceramic crowns available. Procera copings have extremely favorable wear characteristics, excellent color stability and precise fit. Procera provides the strength of a PFM, yet has aesthetics of an all ceramic restoration.

Procera® Crown Zirconia
The Procera® Crown Zirconia, by Nobel Biocare, was introduced in 2001, and in 2004 the Procera® Bridge Zirconia was launched.

Zirconia has a flexural strength and fracture toughness almost twice as high as that of alumina, which makes zirconia very resistant to masticatory forces, still with maintained exact precision of fit 50-57.

Procera® Implant Bridge
The Procera® Implant Bridge was introduced in 1996. Both full and partial bridge frameworks are available. Good precision of fit as well as good clinical performance has been reported 48, 58-69. A cumulative survival rate of 98% after 5 years' of function has been reported 67.

The Procera® Implant Bridge Zirconia was introduced in 2007 and is available in up to 14 units. Clinical studies with the aim to evaluate the long-term performance of the Procera® Bridge Zirconia are ongoing.
The Procera® Bridge Zirconia is available in up to 14 units.

The Advantages :

This system be used anywhere in the dental arch, strength rivals PFM’s,

  Flexible Dentures

These dentures are made of a flexible nylon that can be made very thin. It is preferable for only a few teeth and is extremely light and comfortable. It may be used where people have reactions to plasic based dentures.

Valplast dentures are made from a biocompatible, nonallergenic nylon material that provides the perfect degree of flexibility. The strong, durable plastic snaps securely and comfortably into place around the natural teeth and gums. The color of the denture material blends with the natural appearance of the gums, making the denture almost invisible.

Since the entire denture is fabricated of plastic, it eliminates the metallic taste as well as the bulky and unesthetic metal clasps and connectors of traditional cast partial dentures.

The Advantages :

Translucency of the material picks up underlying tissue tones.
No clasping is visible on tooth surfaces, improving aesthetics.
   The material is exceptionally strong.
Free movement allowed by the overall flexibility is referred to as
     a built in stress breaker.
Complete biocompatibility is achieved because the material is free of monomer and metal.
